जादुई आईना || magical mirror || stories for kids||

एक बार की बात है, ढोलकपुर नाम का एक राज्य था। राज्य में दो राजकुमारियाँ इंदुमती और चुटकी रहती थीं। इंदुमती बहुत सुंदर थी। लेकिन उसे अपनी सुंदरता पर बहुत घमंड था । वह खुद को दुनिया की सबसे खूबसूरत राजकुमारी मानती थी। और‌ चुटकी ज्यादा सुंदर नहीं थी, लेकिन उसका स्वभाव बहुत अच्छा था और वह बहुत दयालु थी।

राजकुमारी इंदुमती हमेशा राजकुमारी चुटकी का मजाक उड़ाती हैं क्योंकि वह उससे ज्यादा सुंदर है।

इससे चुटकी उदास हो जाती है।

एक दिन दोनों राजकुमारियाँ अपने पिता (राजा) के साथ बैठी थीं। इंदुमती चुटकी का हमेशा की तरह मज़ाक उड़ा रही थी क्योंकि वह उससे भी अधिक सुंदर थी। और उसी समय एक ज्ञानी बाबा राजा से मिलने आए। जहां उन्होंने देखा कि राजकुमारी इंदुमती का उनकी सुंदरता पर बहुत अधिक घमंड है।

तब बाबा ने इंदुमती के घमंड को तोड़ने का एक तरीका खोजा। ज्ञानी बाबा ने एक  जादुई आईना  किया और इसे राजकुमारियों को दिया और कहते हैं "यह जादुई आईना आपकी वास्तविक छवि दिखाएगा। यह जादुई आईना सच्चाई को खोलता है।

इंदुमती ने दर्पण को पकड़ा और जब उसने जादुई आईने में देखा तो वह चैंक गयी।

आईना उसे बहुत बदसूरत दिखाता हैं और,  जब चुटकी ने जादुई आईने में देखा तो वह भी चौंक गई कि आईना उसे बहुत सुंदर दिखाता है। 

इंदुमती ने चौंककर पुजारी से पूछा कि यह कैसे संभव है

तब पुजारी ने कहा "मेरे शब्द याद करो कि मैंने तुमसे क्या कहा था "कि यह जादुई आईना  असली तुम्हें दर्शाता है"।

उन्होंने इंदुमती से कहा कि तुम अपनी सुंदरता पर बहुत घमंड करती हो। 

लेकिन चुटकी बहुत दयालु है।सभी के प्रति उसका स्वभाव अच्छा है।

 इसीलिए आईना उसे सुंदर दिखाता है|

यह जादुई आईना सच्चाई को दर्शाता है। पुजारी ने कहा "कि सुंदरता केवल चेहरे से नहीं होती है, यह दिल का रूप है। 

इंदुमती ने पाठ को समझा और चुटकी से माफी मांगी। 

और उसके बाद वह कभी भी घमंड नहीं करती है और हमेशा जादुई आईने से सबक याद रखती है|

निष्कर्ष- सुंदरता केवल चेहरे से नहीं होती है, यह हृदय का रूप है। इसलिए एक खूबसूरत चेहरा होने की तुलना में एक दयालु और अच्छा दिल होना ज्यादा महत्वपूर्ण है
